drop into the teens on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Winds
across the area will mostly be westerly on Tuesday and more
southerly on Wednesday, increasing to 15-20 mph each afternoon
with gusts to 25 mph. With low RH values and gusty winds, a Red

and a Fire Weather Watch is in effect for the San Luis Valley
and the SE Plains on Wednesday.

The chance of showers will be on the increase late Wednesday
into Wednesday night as an upper level disturbance approaches
from the northwest. The disturbance will pass mostly north
of the area on Thursday, but bring an increased chances of showers
and thunderstorms for lower elevations and snow showers for
the higher terrain.

Smoke dispersion will become Poor by later this evening and
through the night, and then return to being generally Very Good to
Excellent again for most areas tomorrow and again Wednesday.
